PnR is Prepping for Winter 🎅

We have a ton to celebrate this year! When are you free to Holiday Party?

Sam and Kevin here checking in with a Pitch and Ski update before it gets too cold out.

We all know that skiing is the perfect remedy for those gloomy winter days in the city (and a great way to cap off marathon season). It’s also one of the best ways to connect with others during the colder months. But let’s face it, planning a ski trip can be a real hassle.

That’s why we’re excited to announce that this year’s Pitch and Ski is more than just a group trip to a ski chalet — it’s a turn-key experience with every part of the trip already planned out. Our hope is that this is the most memorable ski trip you’ve ever been on.

Keep reading to see what we’ve planned out for — from trip start to trip end — when you join us in Utah this February.

As close to the mountain as it gets!

Pitch and Ski is going to show you the best parts of Utah, both on and off the slopes, with a focus on bonding and personal growth. We’ve been around the block a few times (Sam, in particular, has skied over 100 cumulative days in Utah), and we’ve planned an itinerary that caters to everyone — whether it’s your first time on the slopes, you’re a tenured expert, or you’re just there for the après. Most importantly, every day is home to social events to ensure you get to know your fellow trip-goers.

FAQs

Q: Who is going on this trip?

A: Founders and investors from in and around the PnR community! Folks from a mix of chapters have signed up. A few founders who are not runners have signed up as well.

Q: Should I grab my gear before the ski trip?

A: If you are planning to ski or ride more than just Pitch and Ski this season, it may be cheaper to get season rentals ahead of time in your city of origin! Some outlets, such as Evo, also have significant discounts on last year’s gear. Many airlines allow you to bring skis and a boot bag and count it as one singular checked bag.

If you only plan to ski or ride on this trip or convenience is a priority, it may be best to rent in Salt Lake. We will coordinate gear rentals over the first two days of the trip for those who need.

Q: I’m a beginner skier or snowboarder. Is this trip right for me?

A: This trip is a fit for all ability levels. We have planned the itinerary such that there is plenty to do, even if you don’t wish to ski/ride the whole time. We can also help coordinate lessons!

This trip is operated in collaboration with PeakRankings.
